Dr. Swapnil, an MBBS by qualification, is the co-creator of Safe N’ Happy Periods. She has used her education and experience toco-create the menstrual awareness workshops at SNHP bringing in the medical aspect and academic research, which is a significant part of SNHP.
Dr. Swapnil did her MBBS from Nepalgunj Medical College, Nepal. She passed out in 2011 and has a rich experience of dealing with community health and preventive medicine. She has spent enormous time working with rural communities of Nepal and India and has actively engaged in educating the rural population about the basics of health, hygiene and disease prevention. She worked at grassroots with rural health challenges and health education in villages in Rajasthan.
She has also worked in Texas in the field of Medicine. She is currently based in US and operates from there. Her area of interests are community health and academic research. She can be reached at Gupta.swapnil12@gmail.com
